This variety from Brazil is in leaf all year, it flowers from June
to September, and the edible fruit ripen from September to
November. The flowers are hermaphrodite and are pollinated by
insects. The plant prefers light to medium (sandy / loamy)
well-drained acid, neutral soil Requires direct sun and cannot grow
in the shade. Will tolerate light frosts but prefers to be frost
free over winter.
