An easy exotic fruit that is cultivated like a tomato. The bright
yellow/orange fruit is produced inside papery husks that protect
them from pests! Eat raw, dried, preserved or cooked. The tangy
tart/sweet flavour creates a wonderful contrast when dipped in dark
chocolate. The husk must be removed before eating. Grow two plants
for best pollination. |
