Green Leafed Japanese Maple

Germ. Temp	Refrigerate 90-120 days then germ at 18C to 23C
Germ. Time	1 to 4 months
Hardiness	Frosts hardy when mature
Position	Conservatory, greenhouse, outdoors in full sun in rich sandy soil or in a pot on a warm patio.
Conditions	Rich, moist medium of sand / coir / vermiculite.

The Japanese Maple is the most common variety used for Bonsai. They maintain green leaves during the summer that turn a red colour in the autumn They can also be used as rootstock for grafting purposes.
